The Old Bakery is showcasing a cornucopia of plant-based delights to it’s monthly taster night for August.
Popular and back by demand, this is the third instalment of our vegan themed night where we use locally-sourced produce to create some truly delicious dishes.
Executive Chef at The Old Bakery, Phil Cook, says: “Our vegan evenings in the past have been received really well and that’s why we’re bringing it back for our diners who follow a vegan diet.
“We’re out to prove that vegan dishes can be just as spectacular and mouth-watering as our other menu creations, so come and see what you think to cruelty-free and plant-based fayre.”
Whether you are a long-term Vegan or would just like to experience something new, this event is sure to excite.
Courses include delectable options like charred leek, hot maple tofu and a tempting sticky toffee pudding with banana ice cream.
Part of a series of tasting events The Old Bakery holds throughout the year, other recent evenings have explored street food, tastes from the orient and even locally-supplied game and beef evenings. This is all part of the mission at The Old Bakery, to create and showcase menus for our discerning customers from produce that elevates Lincolnshire’s fine produce to new heights.
Diners can enjoy this 6-course tasting menu for just £90pp, which includes a welcome drink on arrival. You can also enjoy a 5-course beverage pairing, which includes vegan wine for just £40pp too. Due to popular demand of previous years this tasting session will be available for diners to enjoy at the set time of 7pm on Friday 28th or during our full dinner service on Saturday 29th 6pm onwards.
