Talent, experience and exceptional food, that’s the name of the game when it comes to the returning Emerging Chefs evenings, taking place again from September at Lincoln’s Old Bakery.
Designed to showcase catering students from Lincoln College’s Level 3 Front of House, Professional Cookery and Hospitality courses’ skills, it’s a hugely popular evening and booking ahead is advised.
Several menu options are available, with two courses set at just £25 and three courses at £30. This weekly sitting is a way of sampling the restaurant’s acclaimed Lincolnshire produce-inspired dishes while supporting our training students. Overseen by our in-house team, it forms part of the commitment to learning as well as training up the next generation of chefs.
Menu choices for our first session on September 16th start with either a pea & mint risotto or a delectable char sui pork belly, before a choice of Roast Chicken or Salmon with crushed potatoes and kale for a main course.
Vegetarian alternatives are also available in advance if stated at time of booking.
Those with a sweet tooth can opt for either a tempting chocolate parfait with banana and pecan or a blackberry brûlée with macerated blackberries and shortbread.
